StoryWalk®

HOME / PROGRAMS / CHILDREN

Independent Program

The Conrad Public Library StoryWalk® is a fun, interactive activity that combines literacy with physical activity. StoryWalk® signs display pages from a children’s picture book and are placed along the Conrad Pathway, encouraging families with children to spend time together moving around outdoors while reading a story.

The beginning of the Conrad Pathway is located here. Stop by to see the featured story!

This community project is sponsored by: the Conrad Public Library Foundation, Conrad Pathway, Stockman Bank, Independence Bank, Conrad’s 100 Strong, and several dedicated volunteers. Thank you for your support!

The StoryWalk® idea was created in 2007 by Anne Ferguson and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library in Vermont.

The mission of the Conrad Public Library is to provide services, spaces, and experiences that encourage literacy, inspire curiosity, and strengthen community.
