MINDFUL MOVEMENT

HOME / PROGRAMS / ADULTS

Day:  Mondays

Time:  6:00 pm

This class focuses on a combination of movement and nervous system education and is facilitated by Lida Holst, LCSW, RYT-200 from True North Counseling.  Participants are encouraged to arrive early to set up as space may be limited.

Who is this for? The class is open to all adults aged 16 and older, welcoming all genders and abilities. Movements are made accessible to every body type through the use of modifications and props.

What to expect: Attendees will enter a welcoming, inclusive space aimed at developing strength, balance, and flexibility. The curriculum incorporates gentle yoga, somatic and functional movements, and tools for nervous system regulation, balancing both active movement and restorative rest.

What to bring: Participants should bring curiosity and wear comfortable clothing. While students are encouraged to bring their own yoga mats and props, some items may be available during class or for checkout from the Library of Things for home practice.
